Disclosures & Compliance
Who we are registered with, how we are paid, and what to do if something goes wrong. Plainly stated, in one place.
Who we are
Finpotters is the trade name under which Shital Shukla (ARN-87539) and Jija Roy (ARN-152830) act as AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributors. Any suggestion we make on mutual funds is incidental advice, given as part of distribution and limited to mutual fund schemes.
Finpotters acts as a distributor or facilitator for financial products and does not guarantee returns or performance. Products are offered by regulated institutions such as fund houses, portfolio managers, insurers and lenders. The decision to invest, buy a policy or take a loan is always yours.
Regulators
The products we facilitate are governed by the frameworks of these regulators and bodies.

AMFI due diligence, May 2025

How Finpotters is paid
We earn commission, not fees, on mutual funds. Ask us the rate on any scheme, any time.
When our clients invest through us, they invest in the Regular Plan of a scheme. The fund house pays us a trail commission out of the scheme's expenses. Commission rates differ between fund houses and schemes.
- You can ask us, at any time, what commission we receive on any scheme we suggest. We will tell you. Our rate sheets are also on the Downloads page.
- We do not deal in Direct Plans for our clients. Direct Plans pay no distributor commission, so their expenses are lower.
- For other products, such as PMS, AIFs, insurance and loans, Finpotters may receive commissions or fees from the institution concerned, as permitted under applicable regulations.
- Other products that we do not offer may also suit you.

Mutual fund risk factors
- The NAVs of the schemes may go up or down depending upon the factors and forces affecting the securities market, including fluctuations in interest rates.
- The past performance of the mutual funds is not necessarily indicative of future performance of the schemes.
- The Mutual Fund is not guaranteeing or assuring any dividend (IDCW) under any of the schemes, and the same is subject to the availability and adequacy of distributable surplus.
- Investors are requested to review the prospectus carefully and obtain expert professional advice with regard to specific legal, tax and financial implications of the investment or participation in the scheme.
- You may also consider alternate products or funds not offered or suggested by us before making the investment decision.
